Last night, Vox Media sponsored the NYC Sass & Compass meetup, which ended up being a huge success. Sass is a CSS preprocessor that helps us style websites quickly and efficiently, and serves as an invaluable tool overall. Last night Jackie Balzer from Behance walked us through building a served site; I gave a lightning talk on @extends, what they can do, what to watch out for, and new features they provide in the upcoming version of Sass; and Steve Berry closed out the meetup with an incredible presentation on agile designing of sites within the browser, with some insights on client management.
